Carmarthenshire Lottery

has now closed

The Society was originally set up 11 years ago to support local business with interest free loans during a very difficult financial climate for them, through a lottery scheme.

Over the years it has supported 24 businesses and community initiatives with gap funding to help their establishment and expansion.

Chairman of Carmarthenshire Lottery, Mair Stephens said “We have made a lot of community members and supporters of the lottery very happy too with over £861,000 being awarded in prize money. The first prize has helped many people achieve their dreams and 1861 people have been lucky to have won a prize over the years.”

Funding from banks and other financial institutions is now more readily available and the need for such a society no longer exists.

Carmarthenshire Lottery  wishes to thank everyone for their support. A letter has been sent to existing participants.
